PERTHSHIRE RUGBY APPOINT NEW DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Perthshire Rugby’s forward momentum continues with the appointment of a new Development Officer. The club, which is renowned for the quality of the coaching product delivered across all age groups, has appointed Logan Robertson to this important role.
Eamon O’Brien, Head of Development, comments, “We’re delighted to welcome Logan to Perthshire Rugby. This is a great appointment at an important time for the club as we seek tin particular to recruit and develop the Girl’s and Women’s game at Perthshire Rugby.
Logan will be heading up Perthshire Rugby’s community engagement programme in schools, “Logan’s Development Officer brief includes working with local schools including Bertha Park driving the Development, Recruitment and Participation in rugby”, explains Eamon. “Logan will have a particular focus on introducing and Girls and Women to Rugby at Perthshire through his activity and support of the Local Schools programmes. Logan has a proven track record in this domain and myself and the Committee are delighted he’s joined our team”.
Commenting on his appointment, Logan said, “I’m very excited to join Perthshire Rugby. The Club’s vision is very exciting. From the early stages of our conversations, I knew this role would be for me. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and I’m keen to get to work and engage with the local schools as well Perthshire Rugby members, stakeholders and the wider community”.
